Common Roots is a preview. It keeps what you pick on this device only, in your browser. There are no accounts and no ads, and nothing here sells or shares data.

What the app records on this device

A short log of what you tapped, so we can fix bugs: which page you opened, which recipe, which day you chose, whether a cart link was opened, errors the page hit. Each entry is a fixed label with simple values (a recipe name from our own list, a weekday, a count). It never includes anything you type, your name, your email, your address, your notes, or what you buy. A random code that is not linked to you groups one visit together and is forgotten when you close the tab.

What leaves your device

By default, nothing. Sending anonymous counts to us is only possible when a collector is switched on, and only if you choose Share anonymously below. You can change your mind at any time.

Your choice

Your plan, servings, swaps and settings are stored in your browser too (localStorage). Clearing site data in your browser removes them.
